How does the naked AI create images? It is very widely known now that AI systems specialized in image generation (including also NSFW content) are primarily based on deep learning and neural networks. To make it work, we must train the model on hundreds of thousands and with millions of images to predict patterns, textures, shapes etc. When it comes to creating nudes, the AI uses certain types of data, which give anatomically correct results. Some models, such as Stable Diffusion and DALL-E 2 use generative adversarial networks (GANs) to process over 100 million images in a dataset for image fidelity betterment of the images they can generate.
A generative adversarial network involves a pair of neural networks. The basic premise with GANs is that there are two networks: a “generator” network produces an image generated based on the data it has learned, and a “discriminator” network receives real images as well as generated images. The discriminator then decides whether this generated photographs look realistic. This competition goes on until the generator gets very good, and its images are almost indistinguishable from real images. The process has also become dramatically more efficient over recent years, with some models able to generate images in less than 30 seconds per image given the complexity.
But critics have raised ethical questions about the source and use of data to build these models. In another case from 2021, a company was sued for using tens of millions of images without authorization to train its AI. Despite the vast number of these kinds of controversies, requests for AI-generated images have not dropped at all, including NSFW images. In fact, AI-generated content is booming as the global market for AI-created writing will increase by no less than 45% per year, according to a report from Market Research Future on newswire.
Many AI platforms like CraveU. Ai, generates nude images, with new algorithms for personalized content users. Many of these models incorporate user inputs to better tailor the results. As these platforms develop, they further fine-tune the models to fit a lot of realistic and adaptable body proportions and an array of skin tones, lights etc. The technology supporting this process still keeps getting better, and some platforms now already achieve an accuracy higher than 90% when creating human-like images.
Elon Musk stated, “AI is advancing incredibly rapidly and A.I will most likely be — I am not sure. This reflects the larger conversation around how to balance — and manage responsibly — tech innovation with ethical data use, in this case for ad targeting. So, while the technology to generate nude AI images is clearly coming on in leaps and bounds, where it should actually be used (!) remains a matter of debate among technologists, ethicists as well as regulators alike.
As neural networks get more advanced, we can expect to see faster as well as better quality images typified in AI-generated artwork. However, this also brings with it the obligation to be careful in how AI gets used are applied ethically and around maintaining privacy and consent.
